National Skills Competition for Adult
The social group skills competition has been held since 2012. It is known as the "National Skills Competition of Labor Gurus’ Cup" and is held once a year. It aims to encourage people to learn techniques to improve the national skills standards, promote industry friendships and technological exchange and bring out workplace efficacy. Participants have to be over the age of 22. From 2013, it has been called "National Career Gurus’Cup skills competition" and is held biennially.
The "2015 National Career Gurus’ Cup skills competition" organized by the Kaohsiung, Pingtung, and Penghu East Branches of the Ministry of Labor Workforce Development Agency and Zhongshan Senior Industrial and Commercial schools handled nine competition vocational categories which progressed in two fields of competition. In the competition field of Kaohsiung, Pingtung, and Penghu East Branch, the single vocational category "metal welding" was handled; in the competition field of Kaohsiung city private Chung Shan senior Industrial and Commercial school, competitions were held in 8 vocational categories, "vegetarian creative dishes", "bread-making", "western art", "bricklaying", "interior decoration creation", "window design","vehicle maintenance technical" and "motorcycle repair".
