National Skills Competition

The National Skills Competition has been held once a year since 1968. The purpose is to promote the development of vocational training and vocational education in our country. It encourages citizens to learn skills and raise the national technical standards. At the same time, they have the mission of selecting excellent players to participate in international skills competitions on behalf of the country. The age limit is under 21 years old, which is in accordance with the regulations of the international skills competition organization.

In response to the demand for technical talent as a result of rapid economic development, the competition vocational categories have increased from the initial 14 categories to 47 categories, including integrated mechanics, molds, collective creation, mechanical and electrical integration, CAD mechanical drawing, CNC lathe, CNC milling machine (Metal), information technology (software design), welding, wood molds, building pavement, autobody repair, sheet metal, piping and heating, electronics (industrial electronics), web design,electrical assembly (interior wiring work), brick walls, paint decoration (paint), gypsum technology and drywall system (whitewashing), furniture carpentry, door and window carpentry, gold and silver jewelry crafts,floral, hairdressing (men’s and women’s hairdressing), beauty, clothing creation, western dessert production, automotive technology, western cooking, catering service, car painting, garden landscaping,freezer-air conditioning, information and networking technology, graphic design technology, bread production,machine control, aircraft repair, health care, robot, Chinese cooking, national dress, casting and application electronics (audio-visual electronics).

People who participate in the national skills competition and pass may be exempted from tests when taking part in the skills test of the relevant vocational category B, C or a single level within three years of the date of passing; in addition to being awarded a bonus, medals, and awards, the top five players can participate in the Ministry of Education review or be recommended for admission to vocational schools, and relevant university departments.
