In response to the COVID-19 outbreak heating up,the WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY,MINISTRY OF LABOR announced that this year's schedule for the local governments’employment promotion assessment for people with disabilities has been postponed,with all the effort being put into epidemic prevention work.

According to the WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY,MINISTRY OF LABOR, in order to implement the Law on the People with Disabilities Rights Protection Act and to safeguard the employment rights and interests of people with disabilities, the employment promotion assessment for people with disabilities  by local governments had been scheduled to be conducted between June and August 2021 to guide and assist local governments in promoting employment for people with disabilities.

In response to the continued severe local epidemic, the alert level for Taipei City and New Taipei City was upgraded to level 3 on May 15. Local governments are actively engaged in epidemic prevention operations to protect communities, so this year's employment promotion assessment for people with disabilities has been postponed,with a new time to be announced at a later date.
