In response to the New Southbound Policy, we initiated the "APEC Skills Development Capacity Building Alliance (ASD-CBA)" project in 2016. The project involves organizing a series of domestic and international forums and seminars. Additionally, we have established "APEC Skills Development Capacity Building Center" at our Taichung-Changhua-Nantou Regional Branch and Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli Regional Branch to serve as vocational training bases for the Asia-Pacific region. The related achievements were highlighted by our country's leadership representatives and featured in the APEC annual leader's declaration.
  2. The aim of the project is to establish an international cooperation and communication platform. Through a model of cross-border and cross-forum collaboration, we aim to engage countries targeted by the New Southbound Policy, APEC working groups, economies collaborating with various levels of projects involving Taiwan's central and local government, industries, public associations, academia, etc. We are committed to enhancing the integration of our country's policy initiatives with APEC projects, utilizing resources from international organizations, and mutually promoting domestic economic development policies.
