In order to assist institutions and training institutes to design, develop and conduct training programs based on the needs of an establish industry, enterprise and workforce employability, WDA launched “Quality Accreditation for Competency-Based Program” in 2013. Quality Accreditation indicators and requirements for competency-based programs have been developed in a way that reflects the features of the ADDIE model - Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Unlike general education programs, competency-based program request industry stakeholders should be involved in every stage of ADDIE and provides appropriate competency outcomes and a satisfactory basis for assessment. An iCAP logo is awarded to programs that pass the accreditation. The iCAP logo is valid for a term of three years. The program has to be reviewed again when the logo expires.
