A: During the period of the employment permit, foreign workers can ask for special leave or personal leave in accordance with the Labor Standards Act and labor contracts. If foreign workers take special leave to return home, employers shall pay the wage for the special leave. If foreign workers take personal leave to return home, no wage will be paid during the leave.
