A: During the effective period of the employment permit, foreign workers may ask for leave other than special leave, such as funeral leave, marriage leave, personal leave, family care leave and maternity leave, with employers in accordance with the Labor Standards Act and the Act of Gender Equality in Employment. If the agreements reached in the labor contracts entered into by and between employers and foreign workers are superior to the laws, the labor contracts shall prevail.
