A: Foreign workers covered by the Labor Standards Act may take special leave in accordance with the Labor Standards Act; those not covered by the Labor Standards Act may take special leave in accordance with the labor contracts. Foreign workers may take special leave to return home during the effective period or after the expiration of the employment permit.
