Employment assistance incentives and job-seeking allowances are offered during the job-searching period for young people aged 15 to 29 who are seeking their first job and who are not enrolled in school and have not held a job for more than 60 days.
Young people who meet the requirements for the program just need to finish a variety of career preparation tasks (such as job searching on their own, receiving employment counseling, job referrals, etc.).
A NT$6,000 monthly job-seeking allowance, up to a maximum of NT$18,000, is provided during the job-seeking period. An employment assistance incentive of NT$10,000 or NT$20,000 will be given to the job seeker if they find a job and work for 90 or 180 days. The maximum amount that can be received for both the job-seeking allowance and the employment assistance incentive is NT$48,000.
