A: Foreign workers are not required to provide related proof documents to employers when they take special leave to return home; however, whether those taking leave other than special leave, such as personal leave, are required to provide related proof documents for employers or not is subject to the rules on leave-taking by workers stipulated in the Labor Standards Act or agreements reached in the labor contracts.
